Daniel Ellis

MS LPC CTP he/his

What I love most about being a therapist is helping people transform their lives in ways they never thought possible. I get to be present for that moment when a client reconnects with their inner strength and autonomy. It is profoundly rewarding. My ideal client is an individual over 18 years old who is motivated to change. With a multidisciplinary approach to counseling, I guide clients toward a new perspective on reality, change, and acceptance. I aim to create a supportive environment where clients feel encouraged to explore their potential.

When appropriate, I like to incorporate humor into our sessions, as it can be a great way to build rapport and ease tension. Therapy is a journey, and I'm here to walk alongside you, offering a unique blend of empathy and a solution-focused approach to overcoming life's most difficult challenges. One of the most challenging aspects of therapy is applying what you learn in sessions to your everyday life. I work with clients to develop practical strategies and provide the support they need to turn insights into action. My goal is to help you break through barriers and create lasting, positive change. If you're ready to embrace change and unlock your true potential, I'm here to help. Let's collaborate to turn your toughest challenges into opportunities for growth and hope.

I have been working with survivors of narcissistic abuse for over three years. For clients who want to heal after narcissistic abuse, I will provide a roadmap to recovery that is based upon building healthy neural pathways, creating and maintaining boundaries, and addressing toxic elements. The most rewarding aspect of working with clients who have survived narcissistic abuse is watching them become aware of their own innate ability to heal after abuse.
