My expertise lies in treating depression and trauma, and I use a combination of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. These approaches can lead to decreased symptoms, reduced trigger responses, and improved emotional regulation. In my experience, one of the most challenging aspects of therapy for clients is examining and integrating new, healthy perspectives into their thought life—change can be tough. However, with open-mindedness and self-honesty, clients can overcome these challenges.

I have personal experience that allows me to connect with clients who are healing from narcissistic abuse. I especially find it rewarding when a client finally realized the abuse was not their fault. Education is an important part of the healing process. Knowing how and why things happened can bring about lasting change for survivors. I have completed SNAP: Survivors of Narcissistic & Abusive Personalities and am receiving supervision and training from Mandy Friedman LPCC-S.
